Meet our TRIBE

Austin M

Austin has always had a passion for health and fitness. After years of lifting weights, he began to explore more “lengthening” movements, as you’d find in Pilates and yoga, to help combat stiff hips and shoulders. As expected his mobility improved, and unexpectedly found a sense of calm and presence during his practice. His mat becoming a place of safety and release. Austin would continue coming back to yoga during life’s more difficult moments. Eventually he chose to complete his 200hr YTT. Austin has developed a passion for helping others and fostering community. His mission is to empower individuals to always aim upward in all aspects of their lives.

Jenna Clark

Jenna first stepped into a class at Power Yoga Ocala while in high school. She took her practice to Dallas, TX in 2012 to certify as a teacher under Kurt Johnsen of American Power Yoga and has since taught over 2800 studio and private classes. She has continued her education through several trainings including yin, as well as becoming certified for personal training through NASM. Her experience is driven to provide a safe and effective practice with both mechanical and spiritual insight into traditional poses. She fully believes yoga and meditation are a foundation to experience life and all kinds of movement at fullest potential.

Lisa S

Lisa has a long-standing passion for fitness, starting from a young child in gymnastics through college as a Penn State Cheerleader.  After graduating with a degree in biomedical engineering and joining the corporate world she was looking for a new exercise and stress management outlet; that’s when she began her journey with the practice of Yoga. After promotions, marriage, three kids and many years of yoga practice tragedy struck, and Lisa lost her husband to a rare cancer.  She decided to pivot her life focusing on wellness, faith and helping others. Lisa is Yoga Alliance certified and has tremendous life experience that she brings to the mat.  In her practice she hopes to help her students attain physical and mental alignment and to become, “Rooted in Love”.

Zaneh Romaine

Zaneh, pronounced like Dana, but with a “Z”. 😊 Zaneh was born and raised in Ocala, Fl and have pretty much lived an active lifestyle most of her life. Like many others, her health took a back seat when it came to  education and soon after college I found herself overweight, stressed, and constantly fatigued among other ailments. When she finally decided to turn things around she found herself struggling to maintain a consistent workout routine. At the time, most exercises were too stressful on the body and would cause a negative reaction with my blood sugar (probably from the years of abuse on her body and the overconsumption of caffeine in college). Frustrated with the realization that even most exercises were too stressful on her body, she was  suggested to try yoga. And was the best advice she had ever received! Zaneh can still remember that first class and how amazing she felt; physically, mentally, and even spiritually. It was this beautiful blend of strength and flexibility with a connection to breath. Zaneh felt her mind was clear and focused.  It was such a magical and memorable experience that has made her hooked to yoga ever since. As a yoga teacher, it is my hope to spark the interest of each student and ignite a hunger to keep coming back for more. I’ll see you on your mat!

John Thomas

John is from the small town hills of Appalachia, West Virginia He discovered yoga when his meditation teacher told him it would help him sit in seated meditation for longer periods of time and alleviate his chronic pain from years of extreme sports as a youth. Ever since then he dove deep into his practice and study of every facet of the beautiful gem of yoga. His goal is to give you the tools you need to deal with the crazy roller coaster of life that this existence can bring. He hopes to help build a community that supports each other. Letting everyone know that they are not alone.

John Hagler

John discovered yoga in Manhattan Beach, CA in 2012. He first fell in love with Yin but that love has grown to encompass all forms. John uses yoga in all aspects of his life to maintain mobility as he ages. Yoga has allowed him to continue to train martial arts and skateboard well past the acceptable age limit. His motto is, "die young, as old as possible"
