I love reading, always have. After having kids and juggling two small businesses reading was set on the backburner. It became something I squeezed in during carlines, in between dance classes, and while at soccer practice if I didn't have to help with homework. So with the extra time that we all have at home right now, after all the work that can be done is done, I get to snuggle up with a good book.
I just finished reading "Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins. It's an extremely motivating read written by a Navy Seal and how he's pushed past many limitations he has faced in his life. This book leaves no room for excuses or feeling sorry for yourself, no matter what your story is.
I'm currently reading "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman. This book follows the path of one man as he journeys on a quest to find life's purpose. There has been many passages in this book that have really resonated with me at this time in our lives. Some of which I will share later.
"Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens was recommended by someone who has amazing tastes in books (Fellow yoga teacher Nina). I will be starting this one very soon and can't wait!
Have any good books to read? Anything you think everyone should read or one that you can't put down?
